Ghanaians should give Akwaboah a listening ear – Sarkodie

Michael Owusu Addo as he is known in real life, but as Sarkodie in music circles has pleaded with Ghanaians to give Hi-life singer Akwaboah more attention.

He said Akwaboa, is a genius but sadly Ghanaians have failed to appreciate his works and also give him the attention he deserves.

He made the appeal on Pluzz FM while on air to promote his new album which he dedicated to his late grand mum called ‘MARY’.

According to Sarkodie knowing the good stuff Akwaboah is made of, he gave him the opportunity to composse songs for the “MARY” album.

Akwaboah is known for songs like ‘I Do’, ‘Medo’, ‘Messan agye wo’, “Nnsoroma” FT Becca and the first released song out of the ‘MARY’ album; ‘MEWU’.

Akwaboah has composed for many singers in the country and is known to be one of the best instrumentalist in the music industry.

He also worked with rapper Edem on ‘Zero to Hero’ hit song which is on Edem’s ‘Books & Rhymes’ album.

He is not a new name in the music industry as he is the son of Hi-life legend Akwaboah.
