English rapper of Ghanaian descent, Michael Dapaah known in Showbiz as Big Shaq has described the appearance of American record producer, DJ Khaled in his ‘Man’s Not Hot’ video as genuine love for a “brother”.

Speaking at a press conference in Accra Tuesday as part of his visit to Ghana, the ‘Man’s Not Hot’ hit maker revealed that DJ Khaled was not asked to say the lines he said in the video.

“It wasn’t like just say this and say that. We literary met there and then and that is how he embraced me,” he said.

Big Shaq added that during his ‘Man’s Not Hot’ video shoot, a lot of rappers and musicians were excited to meet him in person.

Michael Dapaah’s single ‘Man’s Not Hot’ became famous after he appeared on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s ‘Fire in the Booth’ segment hosted by Charlie Sloth.

His freestyle on the instrumental of 67 and Giggs’ 2016 track ‘Let’s Lurk’ went viral on the internet, gaining millions of views on YouTube and it resulted in the creation of many internet memes.

Michael later converted his freestyle into a commercial single called ‘Man’s Not Hot’.
