The boxing bouts of Ghana's two ex-champions Joshua Clottey and Joseph Agbeko have been postponed indefinitely.

The two pugilists, who were scheduled to fight on April 29, were going to fight on a bill tagged, "Legendary Night Boxing."

The fights were produced by Fresh King Entertainment (FKE), Box Office Sports Promotions (BOSP) in partnership with Supersports.

Agbeko, 36, was going to take on 24-year-old Filipino brawler Cris Alfante over 10 rounds in a bantamweight contest while Clottey, 38, engages 37-year-old Brazilian, Anderson Clayton in a 10-round international middleweight bout.

The manager of Agbeko, Ebenezer Noye, explained the reasons for the postponement.

“We were ready for the bout but some circumstances beyond control forced us to cancel the fights. But all the same the bout will surely come off and we will inform the public through your platform”, he told Super Sports.

The bill also had Emmanuel "Game Boy" Tagoe who was supposed to make a mandatory defence of his WBA international lightweight title against Mzonke Fane from South Africa while world-title prospect George "Red Tiger" Ashie was to fight Cid Ribeiro from Brazil.
