Registered amateur boxing clubs are to meet the Greater Accra Regional Sports Council at the Regional Co-ordinating Council office on Friday, March 7.
A statement by Mr Hamid Issakah, Regional Sports Development Officer said the meeting is to reorganise activities of the Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association for an important assignment. He said two representatives from all registered clubs are expected to attend.
Some of the Clubs expected are Attoh Quarshie, Bukom Boxing Club, Panix Boxing Club, Black Panther Club, Akotoku Academy, De-Hook Boxing Club and Believer Boxing Club.
Others are Sparta, Stadium Boxing Club, Fit Square, International Boxing Club, Osu Ultimate, Saga, Flames and Akotoku High School. The rest are Sugar Ray, Indigo, Billy Kotey, Nananom, Star, Odorkor, Bankalou, Will Power and Star High Boxing Club.
