Attoh Quarshie and Fit Square Gyms

Accra, July 5, GNA - The Attoh Quarshie and Fit Square Gyms recorded two wins apiece during the Week 12 of the Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association's league which came off last Friday at the Prisons Canteen.

Isaac Sackey and Eric Ameshikor, both of Attoh Quarshie cruised on split decision wins over Joshua Barnor of Panix Gym and Joseph Narh of Sparta Gym in the Featherweight and Light welterweight divisions respectively.

Also in the featherweight, Nii Ofoli Tetteh of Fit Square defeated Odoi Yemofio of De-Oak Gym with a unanimous decision while his gym mate, Frederick Lawson replicated a similar feat over Moses Dormenyo of Square Deal Gym in their Welterweight fray.

The Boxing league at Cantonments attracted a cross section of huge boxing enthusiasts to the venue to cheer on their favourite boxers, which the acting Chairman of the Association, Gideon Quartey told the Mr Quarter said with the tempo of the league it is expected that more actions would be recorded in the subsequent league fixtures.
