ENTERTAINING BOXERS, Michael Ayittey 'Powers' and Braimah 'Bukom Banku' Kamoko, ahead of Saturday's bout, have excited fans in Kumasi by jabbing each other with strong words.
The two came face to face at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on December 19, during a press conference in preparation for the bout on Boxing Day.
Banku will face Powers on December 26 in a bout dubbed 'Repeat or Revenge' in the Cruise Weight Division.
The bout is a re-match between the two boxers. Last year, Banku beat Powers in a 12-round bout at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The bulky boxer, Banku, bragged to the fans in his 'broken-English' how he would stop Powers.
Powers, in his reply said "This bout has come a long way and the sponsors have invested a lot of money in it; the fight date is drawing near and I want to entreat all the Kumasi fans to come to the stadium on the scheduled date.
“Banku has been talking a lot and my advice to him is that he should relax because on that day my number one target is the Range Rover and I promise all the fans in Kumasi that I will stop Kamoko in round eight. That is my word to him."
