American based Ghanaian Boxer Samir Bastie has agreed in principal to fight West African Light heavyweight champion Michael Ayittey Powers.
The bout which is being put together by Box Office Promotions and Syndicate is scheduled for late May, according to the CEO Alex Ntiamoah.
The 2007 All African Games Silver Medalist was billed to fight Powers' nemesis Bukom Banku, but the purported fight hit a snag.
The duo, according to reports gathered by Sportscrusader.com, have agreed in principal to fight, but the promoters are awaiting the sanctioning of the fight by the Ghana Boxing Authority.
