Accra boxing fans will be treated to yet another boxing extravaganza when another set of crack boxers go at each other at the Globe Cinema under the auspices of Ambitions and Nii Armah Promotions.

The military pride, Moro Tijani, will seek to place himself in the nation's history books as he clashes with a yet to be named foreign opponent in a 10-round International super lightweight contest.

Judging from the desire of the nation's boxers for world titles, the performances of some selected ones among the lot are likely to motivate Tijani, a world title aspirant and a serious contestant in his division, to explode against his challenger as his desire to impress his home fans are visible for all to see.

The night is expected to showcase battles of aspiring champions who have not hidden the disdain they have for their opponents in their quest for honours for themselves and the nation.

For Wilson Asamoah, the 12-round bout in the national and West Africa super flyweight championship is a nice opportunity to shoot himself into limelight as he plans his revenge against Fire Service's Sumaila Badu. The two opponents are believed to be in vintage form, as they get ready for a confrontation that is set to rock the entire cinema hall.

Wonder Boy Joseph Agbeko is in high hopes to conclude the hit as he has no option than to come out hard against his opponent, Amies Kubuza of DR Congo in their 10-round international bantamweight contest, while Black Hawk Osmanu Amadu comes face to face with Setehegbe Maturia in an international super welterweight clash.

While some of the boxers prepare to tame their foreign opponents, some of them will have no option than to square off against their challengers who come from the same area.

Philip Kotey is poised to take on Joe Coffie in style in a six-round welterweight contest, which promises to be a night to remember. Both boxers are said to have conditioned themselves for a battle the two consider as the turning point in their boxing careers.

Concluding the night's pack will be an eight-round lightweight fight between Bilhal Mohammed and Alex Brew that also promises to be a thriller.

Rates: special ringside - 50,000; second ringside - 30,000 and Popular Stand - 10,000.
