Accra, April 16, GNA - The Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association (GAABA) has released the fixtures of the Week Four of its boxing league scheduled for Friday, April 18 at the Prisons Canteen, Cantonments. Top of the bill will be the lightweight clash between Michael Offei Doodo of Attoh Quarshie and Emmanuel Quaye of Wisdom Gym. Dodoo, highly rated as one of the promising products of the league which commenced three years ago, is yet to lose in the four-week old competition, however as to whether Quaye has the antidote to end the formers' reign remains to be decided on the night.
The Attoh Quarshie idol has won his previous bouts unanimously and is highly favoured to add Quaye to his tall list of victims. Evans Dodoo, also of the Attoh Quarshie Gym will square off against Kpapko Allotey of Wisdom Gym in a repeat of the first encounter while Victor Kuwornu of Bronx Gym will battle Wisdom Gym's Samuel Akurugu. In the featherweight division, Joshua Barnor of Panix Gym will seek to maintain his unbeaten status when he comes face to face with Sannie Dindana of Wisdom Gym while, gym-mate Michael Pappoe clash against George Krampah of Bronx Gym. Sulemana Lamptey of Square Deal Gym will face Felix Agbozo of Ashaiman Gym, while Francis Adams of Bronx Gym squares off with Abu Iddrisu of Kasoa-based Rangers Gym both in the Light welterweight division.
Yaya Afra Sackey will seek to improve on the standings of his Sagacious Gym against Eric Ameshikor of Attoh Quarshie Gym. In the Welterweight division, Baba Sulley of Square Deal Gym will battle Nii Armah Attoh of Fit Square Gym while Nakasem Willems also of Fit Square Gym will sort things out against Jones Ebu of Rangers Gym. Fit Square Gym's Samuel Afotey will come up against Yakubu Dauda of Bukom Gym just as gym-mate Iddrisu Yakubu squares off with Iddrisu Issaka of Ashaiman Gym, both in the Middleweight division. In the Heavyweight division, Maxwell Amponsah of Jah Bless Gym will engage Mathew Nandoli of Wisdom Gym.
