Ghana’s Omar Abdul, managed fourth place medal in boxing at the ongoing 20th Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
Abdul was defeated by Wasee Muhammad in the semi-finals of the Flyweight division on Friday by a unanimous decision.
All three judges recorded 30-27, in favour of the Pakistani.
Though, Abdul lost he was rewarded with a bronze medal for his efforts.
Ghana, earlier won a bronze medal in Judo, making a total of two medals in the competition.
Ghana’s chances of winning more medals, seem to be over in the competition, as most competitors have been kicked out.
