The two will go at each other’s throat at the Azumah Nelson Stadium at Kaneshie in a WBO, WBA featherweight championship.

Ahead of the clash, both boxers have indicated they are in good positions to win, assuring fans of a mouthwatering night of self defense.

Dogboe comes in as the champion and has pointed out his desire to add Pappoe to his victims in Ghana.

He conceded earlier that the latest defense may be a tricky one because Pappoe is more experienced and very compact.

But that notwithstanding, he expressed the determination to overcome him in an amazing fashion which fans must be at the stadium to witness for themselves.

Pappoe is equally a solid boxer who is also beaming with confidence despite Dogboe’s sweet run.

Dogboe is unbeaten in 12 pro fights but that means nothing, according to the Bukom-based boxer.

“I have seen it all with many other tough boxers which I always triumph. This will be no different from the previous events. After the fight, he will realise he chose the wrong opponent,” Pappoe stated.

Today’s weigh-in session would offer the two boxers the last platforms to assure their fans of what to expect.

But they must first make the weight when they mount the scales tomorrow.

Heartily, the two boxers have a positive history and have, on no occasion, failed to make the weight and would, therefore, be expected to pass through with ease.

The event, supported by the Aborigines Beach Resort, situated in the Volta Region, has been christened ‘Back on track to our glory days’.

It will feature other interesting bouts including another featherweight clash between Isaac Sackey and Kamarudeen Boyefio and Samuel Antwi versus Mohamed Odartey
