Emmanuel Tagoe alias Game Boy march towards world championship continues without abatement when he takes on Argentine slugger, Jose Saez in the United Kingdom at the end of next month, Allsports.com.gh can confirm.
Tagoe, managed by Ghana national team captain, Asamoah Gyan's BabyJet Promotions, has been confirmed to face Saez as the headline for the Mark Lyons and Billy James-Elliott's Lords of the Ring II at York Hall, Bethnal Green, London on Saturday 29th August.
Tagoe is currently rated number 9 Lightweight by the WBA and is looking for victory over Saez in their international 12-round contest to put himself in line for a shot at the Interim title held by Derry Matthews or possibly the winner of the WBA world Lightweight championship between Darleys Perez and Anthony in Manchester tomorrow, July 18.
Tagoe, the current WBA International champion, has a wealth of championship experience, having also previously been the Ghanaian Featherweight champion, WBO Africa Super Featherweight champion, IBF Intercontinental champion at both Featherweight and Super Featherweight and the WBA International champion at both Super Featherweight and Lightweight (twice).
Argentia's Jose Saez also has oodles of championship experience, being the former interim WBC Latino Super Bantamweight Champion, as well as having challenged for numerous accolades, IBF International, WBO Inter-Continental, WBO Latino and the WBA-NABA Super Bantamweight title.
In their determination to give Tagoe the boxer all the necessary preparations for his first fight in the UK, Allsports.com.gh can exclusively reveal that BabyJet Promotions have arranged for the Ghanaian show master to depart Ghana by August 1 or 2, four clear weeks before fight night for pre-fight camp at the Champion TKO gym in London where he will train under the supervision of Johnny Eames and his local trainer and uncle, Teiko Tagoe AKA Coach Akese.
