Former Sports Minister Nii Lante pays GH14,000 for Isaac Aryee surgery

The Deputy Minister of Youth & Sports, Hon. Pius Enam Hadzide and some executive members of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) have paid a visit to boxer, Isaac Aryee who was reported to have been knocked down by a hit and run police officer from the Mamprobi Police station.

The Minister urged the hospital authorities to go ahead with the operation as the Ministry is prepared to take full responsibility of the medical bills of the boxer.

Meanwhile, another positive news reaching yours truly state former Minister of Youth & Sports Hon Nii Lantey Vanderpiuje who is MP for Odododiodoo, and a ken boxing fan has also paid the initial amount of GHC14,000cedis that was initially mentioned as the cost for the operation.

Isaac Aryee, one of the most disciplined boxers and former National champion has been hospitalized and the deputy Minister of Youth & Sports has appealed to the Inspector General of Police to investigate and come out with the truth in the matter as the alleged police officer, a former driver has denied he caused the accident.
