Zwennes was re-elected as GBA president last Wednesday during the Federations’ Congress and Election after running unopposed.
Ghaan have been starved of a world title after Joseph Agbeko reclaimed the IBF bantamweight belt after beating Yonny Perez in 2010.
“We have to work together to put Ghana boxing back to where it belongs,” Zwennes told Sportsnetghana.com.
“It has been years since we won the world title and with my executives members we will work to ensure that we end that world title drought. It won’t be easy but it can be done.”
“We will not disappoint Ghanaians, there are a lot of work ahead of us, there are challenges to be surmounted and we all need to put our shoulders to the wheel to put Ghana boxing back to where it belongs.”
