The course, aimed at updating the knowledge of young boxing coaches in the sport had 20 individuals drawn from some gyms in Accra and other parts of the country participating.

Subsequently, the GBA will on Thursday, November 11, hold a graduation ceremony for the participants at the Press Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The course took the boxers through sports medicine, conditioning, psychology, rules and regulations of the sport and other tactical and technical exercises.

Mr Justus Agbeko, General secretary of the GBA described the course as a successful one since it has enhanced the knowledge of the coaches who participated in the month long course.

He said the newly trained coaches would soon embark on an outreach programme to extend their newly acquired skills to young boxers across the regions.
