Ghana’s Emmanuel Tagoe knocks out Felipino Carlo Magali

Ghana’s Emmanuel Tagoe knocked out Felipino Carlo Magali to defend his WBA International welterweight title.

Tagoe, known in the boxing cycles as “Game Boy” maintain his unbeaten run in 25 bouts after knocking down his opponent in the 9th round.

The Ghanaian had dominated through from the first round before stopping the highly-rated Magali in round 9.

“Game Boye” prior to the bout had only lost once in his 26 bout with Magali winning his last five bouts.

The Felipino who came into the fight with much expectation had recently secured a famous win over American boxer Billy Graham who died days after the bout.

Emmanuel Tagoe however received moral support from his boss and promoter Asamoah Gyan who was there to witness there fight.
