Ghana’s referee Barnor handed international bout

Roger Barnor, one of the leading boxing referees in Ghana, has been penciled by the World Boxing Association (WBA) for the WBA International Minimum Weight Title fight between Siyabonga Siyo of South Africa and Lito Dante of the Philipines.

He is scheduled among the three judges to referee the international bout which comes off on August 14, in East London, South Africa.

The said match will be officiated by Lezek Jankowiak – South Africa with Stanley Chritodonlou and Wally Snowball all from South Africa as the two other judges.

Barnor is expected to fly out of Accra on Monday, August 10 for that international assignment.
