Golden Mike to brief media Thursday on Agbeko’s fight in Ghana

The Golden Mike Boxing Promotions and their parent Golden Concepts Management will meet the Ghanaian media this Thursday April 12 for a grand briefing regarding former world champion Joseph Agbeko versus Michael Domingo’s IBO title fight.

Agbeko, 28-4, 22 KOs, until this year the IBF Bantamweight champion, is scheduled to fight in Ghana for the first time in 5 years when he takes on the 32 year old Filipino Domingo (44-16-2, 23 KOs)in Accra on May 26 for the vacant (International Boxing Organisation) IBO Bantamweight belt.

In this regard, Golden Mike Promotions who are staging the fight, have invited selected media outfits for a briefing at the Osekan Beach Resort on the fringes of central Accra at 6pm on Thursday. Accordingly, the invited media houses are urged to each delegate a senior reporter because issues bordering on media partnership and rights will be discussed.

“We must make it a point to be on time too because we want this to be a brief meeting so we can all get back to our various businesses. It’s 6pm and we intend not to take more than an hour and half,” noted a statement by the promoters.
