Ghana’s Habib Ahmed has moved to 6th in the super middleweight division in the latest World Boxing Organisation (WBO) ranking for the month of September.
Ahmed was ranked number 8 in last month, however in the latest ranking he is now number 6.
With his latest ranking, the James Town native could get a world title shot soon.
Ahmed currently holds the WBO Africa super middleweight belt – he won the belt four months ago after claiming a unanimous decision win over compatriot Philip Kotey.
