Hearts wish Ike Quartey well

Accra, Dec 1, GNA - The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has sent a goodwill message to Ike 'Bazooka' Quartey, the former World Boxing Association (WBA) Welterweight champion in connection with his come back fight against Carlos 'El Elegante' Bojourquez in Mandaley Bay Resort in the United States of America this weekend.

A statement signed by Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager of the Club said 'Hearts knows and believe in your usual focus, determination and decisiveness that would help you to prevail'. "Having known your worth and followed your return to the ring with keen interest, we are convinced beyond doubt about your ability of you indeed inching closer to another world title."

The statement also asked Ike who is an ardent supporter of the Club to extend similar goodwill messages to Kofi Jantuah and Joshua Clottey who are also to fight on the same bill for them to also endeavour to fly higher through their collective effort.
