Stylish boxer, Emmanuel "Gameboy" Tagoe has stated that he will knock out his Tanzanian counterpart Sidicki Momba in their much anticipated WBA Intercontinental lightweight championship bout on December 26.
"I want all Ghanaians to throng to the Ohene Gyan Stadium to support me because I will knock out Momba. He's been ranting all around, but I will discipline him in the ring. I will beat him with "kung wan chong"" Tagoe told Happy FM.
He revealed that he would introduce Asamoah Gyan as a coach on the night. "Gyan has trained several boxers but he has absolute confidence in me so I will introduce him as a boxing coach," Gameboy stated.
Tagoe said the bout will be either 'burst or cut'. He entreated all his fans to come in their numbers to offer their unflinching support to him.
Sidicki Momba also predicted a 4th round knockout of his opponent in the much-anticipated fight. "I have fought several credible boxers in Russia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philipines which offers me better experience than my opponent. I will knock him out in round four," Momba bragged during an ill-tempered presser.
The bout which is slated for Boxing Day is being promoted by Baby Jet Promotions.
