James Armah beat Carlos Cisneros of San Miguel, El Salvador on points in his long-awaited return to the boxing ring at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, CA. on Sunday.

In the six round junior welterweight fight, Armah weighing in at 142 3/4 pounds was the winner by unanimous decision by scores of 59-55, 60-54, and 60-54.

Armah improves to 13-0, 6 by KO while Cisneros falls to 5-7-1, 3 by KO.

This was Armah's first fight in over two years, when he defeated Chris Barnett in Liverpool, England. He has not scored a knockout since 2000.
