Former International Boxing Federation (IBF) Batamweight World Champion Joseph ‘King Kong’ Agbeko will fight against Cris Alfante from Philippine on the 28 Of May 2016 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
On a night dubbed as the Legendary Night boxing, will also see Joshua Clottey also in action against an unnamed Brazilian opponent.
Agbeko (30 -5, 23 KO) will be looking forward to revive his career and be active in the sport after missing out on the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Bantamweight and the World Boxing Organization to Guillermo Rigondeaux in 2013.
Agbeko showed glimpses of a magnificent come back at the peak of his career when he won his bout against Juanito Rubillar with a Technical Knockout in Texas last year.
Cris ‘Asero’ Alfante (17 – 5, 3 KO) wouldn’t pose a threat to the ‘King Kong’ as he exhibited a very poor run of form losing three bout in quick succession
