Former Olympian, Bastie Samir, is confident his compatriot Obodai Sai will reign supreme over Kenya’s Walter Kautondokwa if he get a rematch.
Last Friday at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Kautondokwa defended his WBO Africa middleweight belt in a grand style and added the IBF Africa middleweight belt after stopping Sai in round five.
“It was a painful defeat for Obodai Sai but that is boxing for you, one punch can change everything,” Samir told Sportsnetghana.com.
“Despite that loss Obodai Sai is still one of the best boxers in the country but in boxing anything can happen.”
“I’m confident when Sai gets a rematch he will beat Kautondokwa.”
On June 30th, Samir will fight on the undercard of Jospeh Agbeko vs Nick Otieno against yet to be named opponent.
