Accra Feb 13, GNA - A retired boxer and one of the most celebrated acrobats in Europe with Ghanaian origins, Baba King has launched a talent drive acrobatic gymnasium in Accra. Speaking to the GNA Sports in Accra, King, a Ghanaian based in Europe said Ghana has a large pool of acrobatic talents who with the necessary structures, could add their quota to raising the high the flag of Ghana in indoor sports.
The winner of the 2004 European 'Show Your Skills' international championships, said it is one of the areas that could help create youth employment and also reform the lives of people who involve in any social activities in the society.
King said that if all goes as planned, he would organise regular championships to raise money for charity. He said that the countless potentials of Ghanaian acrobats serve as his motivation to develop the sport. He also advised acrobats to guide against any vices and habits that would derail their ambition to make their mark.
