Jumus Boxing Promotion Syndicate on Tuesday introduced to the media the two South African boxers who are billed to fight on its maiden promotion on Friday, June 13, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The two boxers, Kaiser Mabuzo and Cedric Conway were accompanied by their trainers and would be going into the ring against Raymond Narh, National Super Featherweight champion and Joseph Agbeko, former World Boxing Federation Bantamweight (WBF) champion, in a contest dubbed "the fist of fury".
Speaking at the press conference, Mabuzo also known as "hammer" said " Narh must watch out because I'm going to subject him to a very serious punishment in the ring on Friday".
"I understand he has an unbeaten record and I'm going to be the first person to break that record come Friday". the South African boxer boasted.
Responding to his statement, Narh called off the bluff of his opponent and said "I'm going to hand him his fourth defeat in his career and use his own "hammer" to hammer his head".
Narh promised his fans a good fight since this would be his first outing in the year 2003 and urged them to troop to the stadium to watch him hammer his opponent to the canvas adding that nothing can prevent him from putting smiles on the faces of his fans.
Cedric Conway on his part said the absence of his opponent Joseph Agbeko at the press conference is an indication that he is afraid of him.
He however said though Agbeko is a good boxer, he is going to defeat him at his own back yard.
Trainers of the boxers present at the conference expressed confidence about the chances of their wards.
Other boxers on the bill are National Welterweight championship between Lartekwei Hammond and Philip Kotey, with Alfred Tetteh taking on Mohamed Laryea, while Kpakpo Allotey would engage Louis Tassavi of Nigeria in an International Super Feather weight contest.
