U.S.-based Michael “Amazing” Gbenga continues to taunt undefeated cruiserweight and local legend Braimah “Bukom Banku” Kamoko. Gbenga is in search of a rematch over a decade in the making, pledging to exact revenge by becoming the first man to stop Kamoko.
The two fought in April 2005, with the most experienced Kamoko taking home a unanimous decision over a Gbenga who had only fought professionally four prior times.
Gbenga indicated his ambition to fight Kamoko again by demanding to face the winner of the Kamoko-Ayitey Powers rematch that occurred in Kumasi last Boxing Day.
Now, weeks after Kamoko scored a sixth round stoppage over Powers to remain unbeaten, the relentless Gbenga continues to beat the drums for a rematch against the boxer famously nicknamed “Bukom Banku.” How badly does he want it? Watch the video below, recorded from Gbenga’s gym in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
