Alex Baba (21-8-1) lost to American Gabriel Elizondo (18-1-0) at horseshoe casino , Bossier, Lousisiana yesterday in a 8 round Bantamweight contest .
The fight was next in the last lead-up fight to the main event. The early rounds showed the audience little as both boxers fought at a moderate pace with neither showing much power.
Fans started getting in the end of the second as both threw punches nonstop. Elizondo hit heavier, if slower, often working Baba's body.
In the end, Elizondo with his vocally aggressive punching won with a narrow, but unanimous decision.
