The Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies (JGC), Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, has reiterated his company’s unwavering commitment to partnering with the government to create jobs for Ghana’s youth and drive national development.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Jospong Leadership Conference on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Pentecost Conference Centre in Gomoa, Central Region, Dr. Agyepong highlighted his organisation's alignment with the government’s vision of a 24-hour economy.
He explained that the branding of the group’s waste management trucks reflects their readiness to support this initiative.
Dr. Agyepong also emphasized his dedication to collaborating with the government on green economy projects, underlining the importance of sustainability in transforming Ghana’s economy.
The conference, which runs until January 17, 2025, is themed “Transformation through Leadership” and aims to promote business sustainability, positive work ethics, and the critical role of leadership in driving impactful and sustainable change within the organisation.
In his closing remarks on the conference theme, Dr. Agyepong encouraged his staff to embrace purposeful leadership, noting that transformational leadership requires courage, resilience, and innovative action.
“I challenge each of you to fully immerse yourselves in this year’s leadership conference. Seize this opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow with purpose. Be active participants—ask thought-provoking questions, share innovative ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions,” he said.
He underscored the importance of innovation and green initiatives as crucial pillars for growth and sustainability.
