29 companies and individuals honoured at first Ghana e-Commerce Awards night

29 companies and individuals have been honoured at the maiden Ghana E-Commerce Awards night which was held in Accra last Friday.

The awards night which was organised by OML Africa to reward excellence in electronic commerce (e-Commerce) brought together hundreds of e-space industry players, patrons, families and friends at the plush Alisa Hotel.

Guests at the maiden Ghana E-Commerce Awards night were treated to good foods/drinks, music and poetry recitals.

At the end of the four hours show, Mr Albert Biga and his company- ZOOBASHOP bagged in four awards.

Mr Biga won an award each from the Honourary and the competitive categories. He picked the Best Male eCommerce Entrepreneur and Best eCommerce Entrepreneur of the Year. Whiles his company won: Best Ghanaian-Owned eCommerce Company, and Best Online Retail Shop of the Year.

Others who also went home smiling were: Mr Albert Antwi Bosiako was honoured for Outstanding Contribution to Fighting Cyber Fraud, Professor Nii Narku Quaynor – Lifetime Achievement Award in Development of the Internet, MELCOMONLINE -Best Multi-Channel Retailer of the Year and many others.
