80-year-old wins car in MoneyGram’s Ghana@60 promo

At 80, many would have thought the chances of winning an award would be slight or never come to pass.

It was a sight of shock and excitement when Love Oduro emerged the winner of MoneyGram’s Ghana @60 promo.

The excited winner expressed shock and gratitude to MoneyGram as she received her brand new Suzuki Altos car at ADB Bank in Nungua amid happy celebrations by friends and family.

The package comes with a free comprehensive insurance for one year.

“I was shocked, surprised and dumb. I couldn’t even speak because I couldn’t believe the whole thing, It’s by God’s grace”, she said.

The Regional Manager for Anglophone West Africa of MoneyGram International, Patrick Appiah said as part of Ghana@60 celebrations, MoneyGram together with its agent banks in Ghana, decided to reward its loyal customers to improve their relations with them and as well increase the clientele base.

Three other people also received an electric grill each as consolidated prizes.

The MoneyGram Ghana@60 promo was launched in February 2017 and is expected to run till June 30, 2017. The promotion requires customers to do transactions worth GHC1000 at any MoneyGram agent in Ghana.

MoneyGram in partnership with 23 other reputable banks in Ghana are giving out six Suzuki Auto cars as well as other MoneyGram vouchers to every customer who transacts business during the promotion period.

Customers can participate in the MoneyGram Ghana@60 promotion by visiting any MoneyGram branch and transact business after which a scratch card will be given to them, anyone who is lucky enough will win a Suzuki Altos car amongst other fantastic souvenirs during this period.
