The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC is marking this year’s Customer Service Week with a renewed commitment to delivering enhanced customer-centric solutions and service experiences aimed at empowering individuals and supporting businesses.
This year’s celebration is themed “Mission: Possible” and highlights ADB’s readiness to create sustainable value through improved customer engagement.
Speaking on the significance of the week, ADB Managing Director Edward Ato Sarpong said the Bank’s renewed focus on service excellence is rooted in its strategy to build a resilient, innovative, and future-ready institution.
“Our strategic direction focuses on innovation, service excellence, and distinctive financial solutions which align with our core values of responsibility, entrepreneurship, integrity, service excellence, and purpose-driven,” he stated.
ADB returns to profit in 2024 after GH¢828 million loss
Sarpong expressed appreciation to customers for their loyalty and trust in the Bank over the past six decades.
“As we celebrate Customer Service Week, we want to thank every customer who has journeyed with us. Your confidence and trust in ADB inspire us to continuously improve and serve you better,” he said.
He stressed that every interaction with customers presents an opportunity to make a difference.
“At ADB, we are not just providing financial services; we are building relationships, enabling growth, and contributing to Ghana’s social and economic development,” he added.
The Managing Director also noted that ADB’s mission of creating sustainable banking for all continues to guide its operations, from personalised in-branch services to digital innovations that make access to finance easier and more inclusive.
He further explained that the Bank’s new corporate tagline, “Beyond Banking…” reflects its promise to redefine banking in Ghana.
“Beyond Banking is more than a tagline. It is a commitment to empowering businesses, building futures, driving prosperity, and nurturing communities,” he said.
As part of this year’s celebrations, management and officials of ADB will visit selected branches to interact with customers and collect feedback for continuous improvement. Other customer-focused activities will also be rolled out nationwide.
The Customer Service Week, celebrated globally, recognizes the importance of customer service. ADB said it uses the annual event to express appreciation to customers for their trust in the brand.
