Kumasi, Sept. 5, GNA - The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), has rolled out a three-year strategic plan to enhance its operations whilst bringing maximum benefits to its customers.
Under the plan, the bank had increased its product line with the introduction of customer-centric products, such as ADB 'Mmofra Account', ADB Student Save and the renewed ADB Personal Loan. In addition, it is also boosting its e-banking services with the introduction of QuicAlert and QuicMail Services through which information about customers' banking transactions could be relayed to them, through mobile phones and e-mails respectively. Mr Stephen Kpordzih, Managing Director of the Bank, announced this at a get-together held by the bank for its customers in the Kumasi metropolis at the weekend.
The occasion was used as a platform for the customers to interact with management to strengthen the relationship between the two for enhanced services.
The Managing Director indicated that his outfit was also introducing QuicPay Service for the payment and collection of school fees and hoped that this would go a long way to benefit customers and educational institutions.
Mr Kpordzih said the bank was taking a bold and giant step to leverage information technology as a strategic tool for competitive advantage, adding that, to achieve this objective, ADB was in the process of upgrading its banking software and infrastructure. This would help facilitate the introduction of a host of personal and business banking offerings, which would bring convenience, comfort and lower transactional costs to customers. He announced that at the core of this move, is the setting up of a Call Centre and Service Quality System through which customers could file complaints, seek enquiries and directions, adding that, the system would also make provision to track the performance of staff at various levels.
Mr Ibrahim Adam, Board Chairman of ADB, disclosed that it was not true that the ADB was being sold to Stanbic Bank and urged customers to treat the rumour with the contempt it deserves. He gave the assurance that the Board and Management would continue to work hard to put ADB on the path for accelerated development to benefit customers. 5 Sept. 10
