AEL records no industrial accident in seven years

Bogoso (W/R) Dec.1, GNA- African Explosive Limited (AEL), an explosive manufacturing company at Bogoso, has not recorded any industrial accident during its seven years of operation in Ghana.

Mr Nigel Convey, the Managing Director, in charge of Ghana and West Africa, who announced this during the seventh anniversary celebration of the company said the achievement was as a result of extreme high safety standards in the production of over 1.2 million detonators, 12,000 tons of emulsion and various products for the mining, quarrying and construction industries.

He said the concern of AEL about safety and its excellent customer service had won it contracts from Goldfields Ghana Limited and Anglogold Ashanti.

Mr Convoy said good safety results were possible only through hard work.
