Rlg Communications (Ghana) Limited and its sister companies within the AGAMS Holdings have reacted to what they claimed is the use of the “'leaked draft GYEEDA report’ as a final judicial verdict to malign and tarnish its global corporate image and the reputation of its Group Chairman".

In a press statement, they maintained: "While reiterating the fact that our companies ARE NOT CULPABLE IN ANY ACT OF WRONGDOING, we wish to state that to date, our companies have not been served with either the said draft report and/or any final report even though the companies cooperated fully and provided appropriate responses to the Ministerial Review and Impact Assessment Committee."

Below is the full statement

AGAMS COMPANIES HAVE DONE NO WRONG

Rlg Communications (Ghana) Limited and its sister companies within the AGAMS Holdings have taken note of commentary by some journalists and social commentators seeking to use what is being referred to as the“leaked” draft GYEEDA report’ as a final judicial verdict to malign and tarnish its global corporate image and the reputation of its Group Chairman.

While reiterating the fact that our companies ARE NOT CULPABLE IN ANY ACT OF WRONGDOING, we wish to state that to date, our companies have not been served with either the said draft report and/or any final report even though the companies cooperated fully and provided appropriate responses to the Ministerial Review and Impact Assessment Committee. It is our considered opinion that the draft report would have been given to all parties invited to the Committee for their comments before a final report was completed.

We wish to state once again that upon receipt of the official report, Rlg and its sister companies will study it and respond fully to any issues therein.

The companies therefore wish to CAUTION all media houses and social commentators against further comments seeking to vilify and project the companies, its Group Chairman and officials negatively. The companies wish to state that, henceforth,we will not hesitate to take all necessary steps to protect our global corporate image without further warning.
