The National Council of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) has wished its members and the business community in Ghana a prosperous and productive 2015.
A new year message issued by the AGI President, Mr J. Asare-Adjei, said: “The association takes this opportunity to express its gratitude to its forebears for their immense contribution and hard work in the past years and also say a big thank you to our development partners: Federation of German Industries, BUSAC Fund, German Development Services, Friedrich Naumann Foundation and UNIDO.”
It said the AGI National Council looked forward to working with the government in the full implementation of the National Industrial Policy, the Private Sector Support Initiative, PSDS II, as well as partner Multilateral Development Agencies, NGOs, Economic Research Institutions and the academia in finding strategic and sustainable growth-oriented remedies to address the numerous challenges encountered by businesses in 2014 for a better 2015 and beyond.
“It is our hope that the New Year would bring a new lease of business confidence in the economy of Ghana,” the statement added.
