A team from the Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (AYE) Ghana has won the maiden edition of the Next Strategy Business Game 2015 held in Accra.

The workshop (including the game) with the theme: Bringing Your Commercial Performance to the Next Level was organized by the Ghana Netherlands Business and Cultural Council(GNBCC) in collaboration with the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and a Netherlands based consultancy organization The Next Organization which is specialized in improving the commercial performance of organizations.

The workshop centered on teaching participants on how to innovate their corporate marketing and sales activities from the customer’s perspective. The Customer journey is achieved by using a well thought out strategy which combines new- and traditional sales channels and implements those within the organization.

The workshop was based on real life corporate test cases through an online input based game which awards competitors on how best they understood the various scenarios and used their acquired knowledge in solving the game. The teams are then made to pitch to a jury on how they intend implementing their solutions to the benefit of the test case Company.

In a post event interview the Chairman of the Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Ghana, Mr. Alain Gbeasor congratulated the organizers for the great initiative and thanked the Netherlands Embassy for sponsoring part of the cost for this workshop. He congratulated his team members Foster Mensah, Dr Laud Bassit, Roger Laari and Eric Aryeetey for making the association proud.

The Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Council (GNBCC) is a network of businesses and its activities serve in representing the business interests of both Ghanaian and Dutch companies. Lysanne Denneboom, the Managing Director of the GNBCC, said the workshop is a scheduled program of the council and will serve to empower entrepreneurs and companies to enhance their businesses.
