Accra Brewery loss pushes index down

Accra, Jan. 20, GNA - A 50-cedi loss by Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) saw the main stock index slide again on Friday as the market continues to struggle to pick up this year.

ABL was the only stock that made movement and closed at 1,150 cedis.

The GSE All-Share Index went down by 4.71 points at 4,728.49 points while change in the year-to-date slid to -0.85 per cent. Shares traded were better at 142,800 from Thursday's 36,800. Market capitalisation was poorer at 91,750.00 billion cedis from 91,762.47 billion on Thursday.
