Accra, Sept. 8, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) on Friday dipped on a significant loss by CAL Bank.
The GSE All-Share Index, the main bench mark, lost 5.0 points at 4,901.22 points from 4,906.22 points.
Shares that changed hands, however, went up at 92,400 from only 31,700 shares on Thursday.
On the broader market there were four price changes, three up and one down.
CAL Bank lost 100 cedis at 1,800 cedis, ECOBANK gained one cedi at 11,827 cedis; Enterprise Insurance Company gained four cedis at 8,406 cedis and Aluworks gained one cedi at 7,004 cedis. Market Capitalisation was 97,488.58 cedis, down from 97,503.96 billion cedis.
