Accra, Oct. 10, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange held its own in trading on Monday with gains by Fan Milk Limited (FML) and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) sustaining the previous week's gains. FML gained five cedis at 15,620 cedis and GGBL was 10 cedis better at 7,410 cedis.
The GSE-All Share Index, the benchmark measure, climbed by 0.66 points to open the week at 4,887.08 points from Friday's close of 4,886.42 points. Change for the year-to-date went up to -28.12 per cent from Friday's -28.13 per cent. Traded shares doubled to 136,100 from Friday's close of 66,800.
Market capitalisation improved at 92,156.57 billion cedis from 92,154.82 billion cedis on Friday.
