Accra, Jan. 19, GNA - The Accra bourse made another rise in slow trading on Friday buoyed by gains in Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), Patterson Zochonis (PZ) and Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) shares. The GSE All-Share Index, the main stock index, rose by 5.31 points to 6,899.01 points.
Change for the year now stands at 1.48 per cent.
Shares that changed hands once again closed lower at 136,400 from Wednesday's 466,800 shares.
There were four price changes, all positive. Ghana Commercial Bank was 50 cedis richer at 11,700 cedis, Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) went up 20 cedis to close at 6,600 cedis, CFAO was better by six cedis at 246 cedis and Patterson Zochonis gained 150 cedis at 5,000 cedis.
Market capitalisation closed at 97,894.85 billion cedis from 3,663.42 million issued shares.
