Accra bourse inches up

Accra, Oct. 27, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All Share Index closed the week slightly better in another quiet trading on Friday with three equities making gains.

The GSE All-Share Index was 0.4 points better at 4,962.73 points, up from Thursday's 4,962.33 points. Change for the year was also better at 4.06 per cent from 4.05 per cent.

Enterprise Insurance Company gained one cedi at 8,513 cedis, Aluworks was four cedis better at 7,020 cedis while Aryton gained 10 cedis at 960 cedis.

Total shares traded were higher at 166,700 shares from 34,900 shares on Thursday and market capitalisation was also better at 111,521.91 from 111,519.56 billion cedis.
