Accra bourse index falls

Accra, Nov. 21, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main measure of performance of the Exchange, fell for the second consecutive trading session on Friday as investor pessimism dominate activities. The index dropped 5.62 points to close down at 10,563.54 points from 10,569.16 points. The change year to date now stands at 60.06 per cent. There were two negative price changes. CAL Bank lost GH¢0.02 each at GH¢0.60 and Enterprise Insurance went down by GH¢0.01 at GH¢3.14. Shares that changed hands fell to 5,100 shares from 31,800 shares. Market capitalisation declined marginally at GH¢17,915.15 million from GH¢17,918.71 million cedis.
