Accra bourse index in big leap

Accra, Nov. 20, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange, leapt 9.84 points on the back of gains by seven equities to close 5,877.52 points.

Total number of shares traded fell to 1,041,600 shares, down from Monday's close of 4.183 million shares.

Change Year to date now stands at 17.41 per cent. On the broader market, there were seven price changes, six positive and a negative. Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) was up GH=A20.0100 at GH=A20.5000, CAL Bank went up GH=A20.0272 to close at GH=A20.4100, Enterprise Insurance Company gained GH=A20.0002 at GH=A21.2007 and Ecobank Ghana gained GH=A20.0003 at GH=A21.6532. Other gainers were Ghana Commercial Bank GH=A20.0001 at GH=A20.9701 and SG-SSB made GH=A20.0096 at GH=A21.1100. Unilever was down GH=A2-0.0005 to close GH=A22.1000. Market capitalisation was up at GH=A211,914.54 million from GH=A211,908.50 million. M
