Accra, July 2, GNA - The GSE-All Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance on the Accra Bourse, continued its steady rise on Wednesday with
a gain of 5.87 points to close 10,352.17 points in an active market. Change year to date now stands at 56.86 per cent. Traded volumes rose to 4,461,900 shares on the back of block sales in CAL Bank and the State Insurance Company (SIC), which sold over 2.5 million shares and 1.5 million shares respectively. There were three positive price changes.
Ecobank Ghana (EBG) gained GH¢0.02 at GH¢3.97, Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢2.35 and Fan Milk Limited (FML) went up GH¢0.02 at GH¢3.62. Market capitalisation ended the session up at GH¢15,591.63 million compared to GH¢15,587.76 million at the previous close.
