Accra, Aug. 31, GNA - The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) made a marginal gain of 0.91-point with the benchmark, GSE All-Share Index inching up to close at 4,913.25 points. Shares that changed hand suffered a further decline at 36,500 shares from 54,400 shares at the previous close on Wednesday. Change for the year now stands at 3.02 per cent.
There were four price changes - three positive and a negative. Fan Milk Limited was up by 133 cedis at 16,150 cedis; ECOBANK Ghana also made two cedis at 11,814 cedis and Enterprise Insurance Company went up one cedi 8,326 cedis.
Ghana Commercial Bank loses one cedi to close at 6,308 cedis. Market Capitalisation was up at 97,523.86 billion cedis from 97,521.04 billion cedis.
