Accra bourse opens on low note

Accra, Sept. 27, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange opened the week on a low note with the main market measure, the GSE-All-Share Index going up marginally by 0.02 points to close at 6,987.89 points. Shares that changed hands fell to 147,800 shares compared to 252,900 at the previous close as bearish sentiments continued to dominate the market.

Change year to date now stands at 96.65 per cent.

Market capitalisation was up marginally at 97,172.08 billion cedis from 3,425.70 million issued shares.

Fan Milk registered the only price change for the session, going up by three cedis to close at 13,203 cedis.
