Accra bourse opens week with slight gain

Accra, Aug. 9, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the main market indicator, inched up slightly by 1.41 points from 6,254.03 points to 6,255.44 points Monday.

The Change Year to Date was 12.26.

Traded volume was 72,624 shares valued at GH¢81,194.11. Shares of 10 equities were sold.

On the broader market, there were three price changes, two positives and a negative. Fan Milk Limited (FML), the highest gainer, went up GH¢0.15 to close trading at GH¢8.00 while Enterprise Insurance Company Limited (EIC) appreciated GH¢0.02 to close trading at GH¢1.30.

Cal Bank Limited (CAL) lost GH¢0.01 to close trading at GH¢0.28.

Market Capitalisation now stands at 18,114.42 million issued shares.
