Accra, Nov. 23, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) slid in weak trading on Wednesday under the weight of a 100-cedi loss by CAL Bank. The GSE All-Share Index, the main market measure, ended lower by 5.92 points at 4,893.69 points from 4,899.61 points. Shares that changed hands ended at 39,500 from Tuesday's 24,400 shares.
There were two price changes, both negative. CAL Bank lost 100 cedis at 1,900 cedis and Ghana Commercial Bank lost one cedi at 6,747 cedis.
Change for the year also slid at -28.02 per cent while market capitalisation was down at 92,190.26 billion cedis from 92,205.93 billion cedis.
