Eugene Boadu, A Corporate and Strategy expert, has lauded the idea of a National Innovation Strategy to develop and draw in innovation as part of efforts to educate the population in order to solve problems and improve the living conditions of individuals.
In his view, the strategy which was suggested by the President and Founder of the Noble International Business School (NiBS), Professor Atuahene-Gima, will increase the public’s thinking and analysis towards innovation in solving problems.
“We need a lot more rigor in public thinking and public analysis so a National Innovation Strategy is very much in the right direction, a strategy that considers which sectors to target, the best sub-sectors with higher chances of scaling up and connecting them to opportunities and national resources,” he explained.
Eugene Boadu shared this in an interview with GhanaWeb on November 22 at the NiBs Ghana Innovation Summit in Accra.
He added that the innovation strategy, when well developed, will also identify people in particular sectors of the economy to gear towards clear policies that will help them innovate properly.
